This involves evaluation of your prescription, the stability of your prescription over time, your ocular health including corneal thickness and dry eye status. They will educate you about what you can expect visually throughout your life after the surgery.

If you decide to proceed with surgical correction, you will be educated about the options which include LASIK or PRK laser correction, as well as other surgical options such as Clear Lens Extraction. Some patients choose to have vision correction for both far and near, other patients just have distance corrected. Those choices will be reviewed by your doctor.

You will be referred to the best surgeon available for the type of surgery you choose. After the surgery, the doctors at SPECTRUM Optometry will monitor your healing process, working with the surgeon to ensure the best possible outcome for you.
